Who We Are

Computer Pals for Seniors (Ku-ring-gai) – a club to help retired or semi-retired over 55’s gain confidence and enjoy using technology.  We are an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers which aims to:

  • Equip seniors with the technology skills required to carry out day-to-day transactions online
  • Encourage seniors to understand the options available to communicate with family, friends and community organisations
  • Keep seniors abreast of changes in technology as they develop
  • Provide welcoming and convivial forums in which to  exchange and expand knowledge and skills

What We Offer

A range of services for members including:

  • Low cost one-on-one or small group tuition
  • Apple (iPad, iPhone and Watch) discussion groups
  • Weekly general help sessions
  • Zoom discussion session on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
  • Occasional workshops on specific topics
  • Low cost assisted use of a high-speed photo scanner
  • The opportunity to help others learn by becoming a volunteer tutor

Where We Are

We serve the southern half of the Ku-ring-gai Council Area, with people from outside this area also welcome.

  • Lessons and small-group sessions are usually held at our East Lindfield training room
  • At times other locations may be used by mutual agreement between tutor and student
  • Lessons and discussion groups are also conducted by Zoom
